Deep Spinner Waves With Shaved Part
- Difficulty
- MASTER
- Hair Type
- Coarse coily hair with strong crown whorl
What it is
Tighter, deeper ridges than a standard wave cut — the rings spiral out from the crown in a dense spinner pattern with heavy definition and clear shadow between each row. A shaved part runs diagonally down from the crown toward the temple, cutting clean through the rings and giving the eye somewhere to land. The hair is cut very short so the pattern reads as a series of hard concentric circles across the whole scalp.
Who it suits
For wearers deep into wave training with a strong natural whorl at the crown. Coarse hair holds the depth. It suits anyone who wants the pattern itself to be the statement, not the fade. No product routine, but a serious brushing routine — this is not a low-effort look.
How to ask for it
Ask for a spinner wave cut taken down to a 1 with the lever closed, even across the whole head so no section is shorter than another. Add a shaved part running from the crown down to the temple on your natural side. Keep the front line-up light so the pattern reaches the hairline.
Upkeep
Brush hard three times a day in the direction of the spin, and wolf a week before each cut for depth. Compass or wave grease sparingly. Recut every three weeks.
