Deep 360 Waves With Hard Part And Low Taper
- Difficulty
- ADVANCED
- Hair Type
- Coarse coily hair, trained wave pattern
What it is
Brushed 360 waves running unbroken from the crown around the front and sides, cut short enough that every ridge stays defined. A single hard part is razored in above the temple, cutting clean across the wave pattern without breaking its flow. The sides drop into a low taper that fades out just above the ear and follows the natural hairline down the back. The front line-up is squared off with sharp corners at the temples.
Who it suits
Made for coarse, tightly coiled hair that lays down under a brush. A strong pick for anyone already deep into a wave routine who wants sharp barber structure on top of it. The low taper keeps the head shape full, so it flatters a narrow skull. The hard part adds definition if the natural part is faint or absent.
How to ask for it
Ask for a low taper with 360 waves, cut with a 1 guard on top so the pattern stays visible, and taper the sides from a 1 down to a 0 just above the ear. Request a razored hard part on the left side about an inch above the temple, plus a squared line-up across the forehead and temples.
Upkeep
Brush ten minutes morning and night with a medium brush, then wrap with a durag. Moisturize lightly before brushing. Return every two weeks so the taper and hard part stay crisp as the pattern grows.
