360 Waves With Hard Part
- Difficulty
- ADVANCED
- Hair Type
- Coarse tightly coiled wave-trained hair
What it is
Seen from above, the pattern spins out from a single crown point and circles the whole head unbroken — a true 360. Every ridge is deep and evenly spaced, with no flat spot at the front or the sides. A shaved hard part cuts diagonally through the pattern on one side, and the waves close back up on the other side of it. The line-up along the front is straight and the corners are squared.
Who it suits
Wearers with a well-established wave pattern and the patience to keep brushing. Coarse, tightly coiled hair trains fastest. It suits any face shape because the cut follows the head rather than adding shape, and it stays presentable anywhere from school to an office.
How to ask for it
Ask for a 360 wave cut with a 1 or 1.5 open lever taken evenly over the entire head, no fade line breaking the pattern. Add a shaved hard part on your natural side, cut with the T-liner from the front hairline back about four inches. Square the front line-up.
Upkeep
Brush in all directions for ten minutes daily and wrap every night. Wash once a week with conditioner. Recut every two to three weeks, always at the same guard so the depth builds.
