Kids Textured Fringe Low Fade
- Difficulty
- INTERMEDIATE
- Hair Type
- Thick straight to wavy hair
What it is
Length is kept heavy through the top and pushed forward into a blunt fringe that sits across the forehead, with the ends point-cut so they break apart instead of forming a solid line. The sides run into a low fade that starts below the temple, clears the ear, and blends up quickly into the length so the top keeps its weight. The back is left long enough to sit over the fade at the nape.
Who it suits
A comfortable pick for straight or slightly wavy hair with plenty of density, where the fringe gives shape without needing product. It suits kids who do not want anything combed or fussed with, since the hair falls into place on its own. The low fade keeps ears clear while leaving the cut looking full from the front.
How to ask for it
Ask for a textured fringe cut forward, top left about three inches, with the fringe point-cut across the brow. Request a low fade starting under the temple, a 1 around the ear blending to a 3 at the top of the fade, and the back left long enough to cover the nape.
Upkeep
Every four weeks keeps the fringe off the eyes. Rough dry with a towel and push the front forward with fingers. A little sea salt spray adds hold if it flattens by midday.
